I need help managing my storage. I have an iCloud account, Google drive (100 GB that I bought 2 months ago, but now says is full of photos), and machine memory, and everything says it is full. I'm guessing most of it is photos. I purchased an external drive to back stuff up too. I would like to back up old photos to the external drive and free up space elsewhere. I'm not sure how to proceed. Thanks.

Freeing Up a Desktop Mac Storage:
Clear Space:
Try clearing internal storage. Do so, though use of the following:
I. Moving Photos:

A. Clear Temporary Internet Files:
Clear your Temporary Internet Files(Cookies & Cache) of Safari:

B. Clean TV and Music Libraries:
Remove all unneeded files from your TV and Music Libraries. Full-Movies take up 2-4GB typically, and a bunch of those would take up a load of storage, ideally. So, if you have any movies that are not needed, then delete them.
