Where is the storage I bought from iCloud on my iPhone?

So how do I combine the iCloud+ and the regular I phone storage. I’m confused, I paid the additional $9 a month for the 2TB of storage but every time I go to video or take a picture it tells me I don’t have storage. What do I do?

The support article you arrived here from should have explained the difference between iCloud storage and the storage capacity of your iPhone.

I'm feeling frustrated with my Google Drive and device storage setup. I recently upgraded my Google Drive storage plan to 2TB for $10 a month, thinking it would solve my storage issues. However, I'm encountering a problem where I can't seem to store videos on my phone despite having the additional storage.

Every time I try to record a video or take pictures, my phone displays a message indicating that I don't have enough storage available. This is confusing because I specifically paid for the 2TB storage plan to have more space. I'm unsure how to combine the Google Drive storage with my device storage effectively. I want to utilize the purchased storage space for both my Google Drive files and my local media storage on my phone.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? I appreciate your help! Thanks

Google Drive is not an Apple product. So, you may be better off asking in a Google forum for help.

However, just like with iCloud Storage, Google Drive will not add storage to your phone. In order to take a video or picture, you need to have sufficient space on your phone. You will need to clear out things on your phone to free up space. See the link Tesserax provided above on how to manage photo storage.

The storage you purchased from iCloud on your iPhone is primarily used to store various types of data such as photos, videos, backups, app data, documents, and more in Apple's cloud-based storage service. It's important to note that this storage is not physically located on your iPhone itself, but rather on Apple's servers. Here's how you can access and manage your iCloud storage on your iPhone: When you have iCloud Photos enabled, your photos and videos are automatically stored in iCloud. You can access them from the "Photos" app on your iPhone. Any photos or videos you take or save on your device are automatically uploaded to your iCloud storage, making them accessible across all your devices.
