My Apple Card available credit is not updating although I have made a payment 5 days ago. Does anyone know how this works?

There many reasons this can happen. Possible reasons are recent large purchase, card at or near credit limit, new bank/payment account, but there are many reasons. This is not a bug or technical glitch.


If you make payments by transferring funds to Apple Cash and the pay your Apple Card account using Apple Cash is instant as well. It’s free, easy and your available credit is updated immediately.


Apple Card is a co-branded credit card with Goldman Sachs Bank. Support is provided through Apple Card Specialists at Goldman Sachs.


If you call an Apple Card Specialist they may release all or part of your payment. This is a goodwill gesture on Goldman Sachs part.

Wondering if restarting your iPhone would help bring things up-to-date for you (eg: deletes temporary files):

Updating your iOS to the newest compatible iOS version may be helpful.

Eg: If not already updated, iPhone 6 Plus can likely be updated .... eg: to iOS 15.7.6
