Is there anyway to reset passwords so that an ex can’t get into a phone if they are the account holder and “own” the phone number and account?

Question for a friend that is going through a divorce - is there anyway to reset an Apple ID and iCloud sign in bc the account holder is the significant other and might not sign off of phone at this time.

Change your Apple ID password on the web

  1. Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
  2. In the Sign-In and Security section, select Password.
  3. Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Forgot your password?
  4. Select Change Password.

Once changed all the devices will be signed out automatcially who do not have the current changed password.
