I have received a couple of emails saying that my iCloud subscription has expired.Is this as scam ?

Hello ,

Do you have an iCloud + subscription ? If not , the regular iCloud is not a subscription so it would be a fraudulent email . If so , and you have enough storage space , contact Apple and find out if there are any new changes to iCloud subscriptions .

Do not give the sender any information until you're sure of the source .
