When using dictation, how can I stop a specific word all caps

Can you help? I use dictation all the time, and specific words such as the town I live in, and Fairfax (using dictation, I get FAIRFAX) are always reproduced in caps. Also, certain other names. I've updated a lot of the settings, but it still doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions? I don't want to turn off automatic capitalization, as this is very useful.

Try surrounding the spoke word "Fairfax" as follows:

all caps off
fairfax

Other dictation commands.

I just hate that System Settings panel… but eventually dictation did not produce all caps "Fairfax" when spoken in Word 16.73 or Pages v13 on macOS Ventura 13.4.

By the way, I did spend four months in Herndon, VA in a high security facility working 90 hour weeks writing code against a deadline. The Fairfax mall (at that time) was a relieving adventure.
