Can I connect my Nintendo Switch to my M1 iMac from 2021?

Can I connect my Nintendo Switch to my M1 iMac from 2021? I don't want to record it, I just want to use my iMac as a display for my switch. Is there any way without a capture card?

You can't use a 24" M1 iMac as a display for a Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch has a HDMI video output.

The M1 iMac does not have video inputs. There are USB-C to HDMI adapters and adapter cables that would work with it for the purpose of attaching a HDMI monitor, but those work in one direction: FROM the computer that has the USB-C port TO the HDMI display.
