Rode NT-1 5th Gen

I’m not getting sound from My rode nt-1 5th gen mic when plugged into my 2020 MacBook Air. I’m using the usb-c connection. I tried fixing the MIDI but it doesn’t even recognize the mic is connected. The input/output only recognizes the MacBook speakers and the headphones. What am I missing?

I'm having the same issue, sporadically. So far the only solution (that doesn't always work) is to restart the Mac. I also check to make sure in MIDI that the volume slider is up and not at zero. Some days I never have an issue. Today, it has (so far) taken two restarts. I also have a Mac Air 2020, the Rode NT1 5th Gen, and I'm running OS Monterey, 12.7.3

Be sure your mic cable is snugly plugged into either a dongle or the available port.
