HomePod not powering on!

There is a chance that the homepod contains a 60V 5A Schottky Barrier Diode on your amplified board that might be faulty. I have seen numerous cases with certain series SBD’s that short internally and cause the whole unit to fail that seems like a power supply issue. The only solution is to open it up, and resolder a new diode. Contact me if you’d like more info.

The only obvious suggestion is to try another wall outlet. You otherwise can’t perform any resets if it isn’t powering on.
