Child Stop purchase on credit card

I’m not sharing purchasing with a child, but they are still able to purchase subscriptions

Cancel subscription started on child's account. Am I correct in thinking that although I authorize my child to take out a subscription, that I personally have no control over that subscription, i.e. my child has to cancel that subscription? This would have to be against the terms of the credit card on file for my account, and California law, where I live. I assume that I have some way to remotely cancel the subscription, right?

I’m sharing with my daughter but how do mmI pay for my own subscriptions like I did before I’m sharing Apple but know I my subscriptions are going to my daughter and I don’t want her paying for him. How do I stop it?
