Fitness+ stopped casting on LG TV

I was casting Fitness+ for a week or so with no issues. We have a fire stick and LG tv. I went to workout the next day, and it’s stopped working for no apparent reason. I can still cast my FREE YouTube workouts, but can’t cast my PAID for monthly Apple subscription. It stopped working around the last time an update came out. I’ve updated my phone and watch, but AirPlay still isn’t working. My husband tried from his phone too. Nothing. Is this Apple's way of forcing more of their products? I’m not in the market for an Apple TV or a box. It worked without those two things, so I know it’s possible unless they changed something with the last update. If anyone has any suggestions, please help. Super frustrated….

We'd be happy to provide you with some information. Based on what Apple has shared, Fire Stick isn't compatible with AirPlay, but your TV may be. If your TV is AirPlay-enabled, you can stream your workout. You can learn more here: Devices you can use with Apple Fitness+ - Apple Support

Keep in mind, Google products utilize a feature similar to AirPlay called Chromecast. While they work similarly, they are different. Your Fire Stick and YouTube may support Chromecast.

Hi Jeff. Thanks for the response. When did Apple become incompatible with fire stick? I was casting Fitness+ less than a month ago with no problem (honestly don’t know if it was through the fire stick because AirPlay is what displayed on the tv prior to the workout starting), then it stopped casting. I dint understand what changed in a matter of a few days 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had same problem with my LG and fitness app, suddenly I couldn’t connected my work outs with my TV

I checked the links they are still compatibles

So I checked my TV … i don’t know how the TV’s airplay was off, we haven’t changed any settings 🤷‍♀️
