My cellular data isn’t working on Social media

Are the apps enabled for cellular? Settings > Cellular > scroll down, and enable the apps you want using cellular

Okay. The phrasing there was confusing to me.

Check with your carrier.

I don't see anything here that would selectively block social media, outside of maybe some setting at your carrier, or if Screen Time or Focus or Parental Controls are enabled.

Most social media apps will not work over VPN, because they can’t identify you. Some, SnapChat especially, will ban you if you connect over VPN.

If you have an add-on VPN client app, remove it, force restart the iPhone, and try again.

Longer long shots:

Is low data mode turned on?

Are any device management profiles loaded?

Is Screen Time / Focus / Parental Controls enabled?

Getting Apps to Respond in Cellular:

A. Start with a Restart:

Try restarting your iPhone, seeing if that gets the job done. Go Here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

B. Close All Apps:

Some app is probably open in the background. It is wanting you to respond, as a user. So, close all open apps. Then, see if this all goes away. Find Out how to here: Close an App on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support
