As 5G capability requires hardware not found in the iPhone 11, you can not.

You can’t. An iPhone 11 does not have the required hardware to connect to a 5G network. You would need to get an iPhone 12, 13, 14 or SE 3rd edition for 5G service.

Phones cannot be converted to 5G.

They either have the hardware for it, or not.

You need an iPhone 12 or later for 5G.

The 5G SIM is physically compatible, and will fit, and will not damage the iPhone 11.

Ask your carrier whether any particular carrier SIM card will work in your iPhone 11. Or try it.

I’d expect the SIM will work, but there may be 4G /LTE limits or restrictions set by the carrier as part of their 5G deployment.

No access to 5G, as the iPhone 11 is not capable of 5G.

You simply cannot make an iPhone which lacks a 5G Radio, a 5G iPhone. It's not possible. If you want 5G on your iPhone, then you need to buy a newer iPhone which is 5G capable.
