Delete Recently Played podcasts
how do I erase the history of Apple Podcasts?
Old episodes and shows I no longer listen to remain in my Recently Played list.

I figured it out. 👍🏼. Go into recently played. Click on the … on the podcast you want gone and click “Mark as Unplayed “
This takes it off the list. 😀. Sometimes you have to click “Mark as Played “ first then click the … again and click “Mark as Unplayed”. I hope this helps. It works for me.
Also worth noting, it sometimes works in reverse. Click “Mark as Unplayed” and then go to the 3 dots … again and click on “Mark as Played.
