I was intentionally wanting to add a new icloud email address to my current Apple ID, which I should set up and create through my icloud. But I accidentally create a new icloud email address (which email name I want) totally separately and now I cannot link to my current Apple ID. I still want the email name I wrongly created. Can anyone suggest what should I do?
You will not be able to use that email address once it has been used as a primary Apple Account address, even if you delete the accidentally created ID.

No, once your Apple ID is deleted, you can't use the email address that you used with it to create a new Apple ID. Also, if your primary Apple ID email address is with a Custom Email Domain, it can never be reused to create an Apple ID after your Apple ID is deleted, even if the domain ownership changes."
