About Message Deletion:

A. Keep a Clean Record of your Message Threads:

Prior to deletion, you may want to backup your messages thread. You can do so, using a computer. Use my User Tip: How to Save or Print a Complete iPhone Messages Thread - User Tip

then...

B. Trash the Threads:

Using the Messages app, trash what is seen. Also, contact your carrier, just to make sure it is off of their own servers.
