Glitches and Jumps on my Slide SHow Export via Photos

I'm running the latest version of Ventura on an near new iMac and putting together a 300+ image (plus one video clip at the end) slideshow. After export, I noticed random jumps and glitches during transitions in the final MP4 file. I suspect it may have something to do with how some of the images were initially supplied to me. Specifically, they had LIVE mode on the photo. Be helpful if a senior person from Apple could weigh in on this. The effort put into shows like this is immense, but the final result is a bit disappointing.

I've found a work around. Finish the slideshow in Photos, complete with titles, music etc. Export it as a file. Close Photos and then open iMovie. Create a new Project with your completed Photos slideshow as the Media.

The problem as you step through your slideshow in iMovie will reveal itself as an extraneous 0.1 sec key frame from the sequence after the transition. Use the cursor key to step to that extraneous frame. Cut the sequence there using Control B. Use the cursor (press three times) to advance 0.1 sec. Cut there with Control B. Then delete that 0.1 sec extraneous key frame. This works.

The trouble with this is that is will also delete 0.1 sec of the sound track. I haven't cared about that because you can't really tell (or viewers can't tell) that there is 0.1 sec beat of music missing.

This is a bug that has been observed in Photos Slideshows for at least 5 years. I'm surprised Apple hasn't fixed this bug yet.

This work around is a mind blower, beyond my willingness to do the work.

The problem has been around for years. Apple should just fix it!

It seems that the flickers happen to some of the photos that were edited, reverting back to the original image for that brief flash. I wonder if you export the edited image folder’s photos as jpegs that may destroy all the pre editing material and then bring the bundle back into Photos and then making the creating a slide show from a new folder, where you can add texts to photos and music and then exporting as before using the dissolve transition (which we like the best.).
