Can I stop my iPhone from counting steps while cycling?

If you have your iPhone with you at the time of exercise, it will track your movements in the Activity app. There isn't a way to disable this.

This is totally irritating when you are trying to get accurate details on daily activity. The only way around it is to manually delete the steps which is minute by minute and takes an age or leave your phone behind which is totally ridiculous. This needs addressing.

I agree with you 100%. super annoying especially after adding cycling as an activity.

I’m also facing the same issue is there any way to fix it
