Notification Issue on iPhone 6S Plus after Updating to iOS 15.7.6

Hey everyone,

I recently updated my iPhone 6S Plus to iOS 15.7.6 and have been facing a frustrating issue with notifications. After the update, notifications are not showing up for any apps unless I manually open the respective app. Even then, the notifications disappear after 15-20 seconds of opening the app then putting it on background but they only appear for next 15-20 seconds but not after that.

I've tried resetting all settings and ensuring that all notification settings are enabled for the apps, but the problem persists. It's quite inconvenient as I rely on notifications for timely updates.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue after updating to iOS 15.7.6? If so, were you able to find a solution? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or insights you might have.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you enabled Scheduled Summary?

Settings > Notifications > [Select the App that you are having trouble receiving immediate notifications]

See the pic below for a few examples. Please select immediate delivery.

Go to Settings and tap Notifications. Select an app under Notification Style. Under Alerts, choose the alert style that you want. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered — immediately or in the scheduled notification summary.

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Change notification settings on iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. To schedule a notifications summary, tap Scheduled Summary, then turn on Scheduled Summary. ...
  3. To choose when you want most notification previews to appear, tap Show Previews, select an option—Always, When Unlocked, or Never—then tap.

You can allow access to Notification Center on the Lock Screen. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Touch ID & Passcode (on other iPhone models). Enter your passcode. Scroll down and turn on Notification Center (below Allow Access When Locked).

Oh haha so I'm not the only one.

I'm using 6s, not 6s plus, but having the same issue.

Meanwhile, my phone couldn't not receive or make calls upon the update was done.

I tried to reset my phone; didn't work. I then went for help with AT&T; the guys couldn't figure out why

1) notification issue same as yours

2) data works fine as usual

3) strong signal 3-5 bars

After each setting change, we rebooted the phone. many times in total.

but still, no in or out calls. The dialing interface immediately shows "call failed" as I push the call button.

4) AT&T guys replaced my SIM card. But the issue persists. They ran out of ideas.

Haha

I think maybe we should go and buy some lotteries (if karma exists). What do you think?
