Why does every time i open garageband it says that the file is corrupt

Make sure you have the current version of GarageBand - 10.4.8.

I don't have an answer for you. I just created an "empty" GarageBand project with 10.4.8 running in Ventura 13.4 and it opens fine. Maybe someone else will have a thought.
