What happens if I change my Apple ID?
I have been thinking of changing my Apple ID through apple.id.com and have been wondering: what will change?
I was wondering if:
- My saved Icloud info (contacts, messages, notes, photos, backups, downloads, files etc) would carry over to the new login and be accessible through it without any data loss.
- My purchases will carry over to the new login (including prompts to use the new login when updating an app, for instance.
If you know these things, it would be appreciated if you let me know.
