Do you get cash back using Apple Pay Later?

If you make a purchase (e.g., at Apple) using Apple Pay Later installments using your debit card, do you receive cash back for the installment amounts or full purchase amount? Or because it is using your debit card instead of Apple Card credit card, no cash back is issued?
