Issues with Video Files in new Ventura 13.4 update

Hi, my name is Vernny and I'm a Video Editor, I have a MackBook Pro M1 Max. Recently my iOS has been updated automatically and I have started having some problems with reading and playing video files specifically from Sony Cameras (in this case material from a Sony FX3, 4k 10 bits 422 all-i) with the software Davinci Resolve in its version 18.1

I think it has to do with the update because I have tried the same material on an Old Macbook that I have with Monterrey and Davinci 18 and I have not had the problem of reading these files.

It's very strange because I can say that they are even random files, I have a lot of files of the same scene with the same conditions and some work fine and others don't when I try to open them with both QuickTime and Davinci Resolve. On the contrary of Premiere Pro that everything runs without any problem.

The problem I have at the moment is that I have projects running that are all in Davinci Resolve and there is no way to make them work. I even opened older projects that have material from this camera (Sony Fx3 and a7sIII), projects already delivered that did not have any problem and now appear with this same problem where some clips appear as "Media Offline" and it does not read them well.

I have already tried reloading them, but the thing is that the program can be read well from the Media at all and all this came with the iOS update.

Now I'm traveling and I don't have my Time Machine backup handy so I don't have access to do a Downupgrade soon either. Any light on when I might have a solution for this.

There is a known problem with 13.4 and several codecs in Apple Silicon Macs.

Plenty of discussions about these issues in the Final Cut Pro forum, but not specifically about FCP, as it affects all video applications (including, of course, Resolve).

We can only hope that this gets fixed in the next update, but in the meantime report it to feedback and try the workarounds suggested in the various threads here:
