Cannot drag & drop anything out of Photos app!

Just upgraded from a Mac mini to a studio, copied my library and loaded it into photos app.

now I cannot drag & drop anything outside photos app, I use this feature almost every hour with FCPX. It doesn’t matter if it’s a video or picture or RAW… it will not drag & drop to Final Cut or iMessage or even the desktop.

Can't drag pictures from "My Photos Stream" into Photos library Hi Folks, I'm prepping for the great Photo Stream shutdown. According to Apple's instructions, I'm supposed to drag all the pictures from the "My Photo Stream" album into the main Library. But their instructions aren't working. I select all, then drag, I get the number of selected but no green copy symbol. This is happening on both a brand new mac mini pro with the latest ventura, as well as an entirely different photo library and Mac running Catalina. Why isn't this working? Thanks.

Using full Photos Library as Screen Saver I’ve used Mac Photos on my Mac as my Screen Saver, using the Ken Burns effect, for years, since the days of iPhoto. Using 2020 Mac mini with M1 chip and Ventura 13.01. I have always selected “Photos” in Screen Saver options in Systems Settings, and it has worked fine. But about a month ago, when I click on Photos I only get c. 200 photos I took over Thanksgiving coming up in the Screen Saver, and none of the 30,000 from earlier than that. When I click on the option under "Choose a set of photos to use for the slideshow," I get thumbnails of those photos (looks like all 30K as I scroll thru them), but the bigger box above the thumbnails is black with NO PHOTOS printed on it. So I’ve selected People instead, which gives me more photos than 200…but none of the non-People photos I have in my Photos library. I have been tinkering try to fix this without success for weeks. This is important to my wife, who really enjoys the eve-changing random slideshow when the Mac kicks into screensaver mode. Any guidance on how to return to using my full Photos library as my screen saver would be appreciated!

Apple Photos Slideshow Crashes While Arranging or Moving Imported Photos When I drag photos from the Apple Photos Library onto an Apple Photos slideshow I’ve created on my iMac 27", the imported photos appear at the beginning of the slideshow, not at the end where I want them to appear. And they appear out of the sorted order they were originally in. So I have to resort the photos in the slideshow, and then drag them to the end of the slideshow where I wanted them to be. While moving those organized files to the right of the track and to the end of the slideshow, if I drag them slightly out of the track window OR just beyond the track window (past the circle + symbol) the program crashes. Is there another solution to import and move photos into a specific position in the slideshow while keeping their original order? Or perhaps make the sorting window larger? I'm using Apple Photos 7.0 on an iMac 27" using version 12.6.3. I haven’t found another program to compare with the results I get in a completed Apple Photos Slideshows. I like the program. It's just not user friendly anymore.

It needed to be setup as the system library! lol
