how do i stop my icloud from syncing to my new iphone. I want a fresh start and phone

Hi! Make sure you’ve set up your iPhone as a new one and not restored from any backup.
You can then choose which apps you want to sync with iCloud:
- Open Settings on your new iPhone
- Tap [Your name], or sign into your Apple ID, > iCloud > Show All
- Choose which apps you want to sync with iCloud or not
