i noticed this morning that the last two months of my photos are missing from my phone. they aren't in my hidden or recently deleted. i haven't backed up my phone since 3/2023 and i don't know what to do to solve the issue.

Hi! It sounds like your photos have been permanently deleted. I suggest trying to restore your iPhone from the backup you created in March to see if you can get at least some of them back: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
