iPhone dropping calls after three minutes

Yeah. The people who work in cell phone stores are sales people, not actual technical support. Call customer support. And, here's the thing, the first person you talk to, even if you press the menu option for "technical support" will be a regular customer support person with a little extra training and a binder full of scripts. You may need to keep escalating.

Then use a family, friend etc phone so you can troubleshoot with Cricket.

The first thing to do is contact your carrier and discuss the matter with them.
