iWatch Ultra Battery in water

Loving my iWatch Ultra, charges fast.

yesterday, in the pool it was in water mode, had to unlock it to change music,

text, etc.

Seems like battery life significantly decreases while in the water.

Anyone experiencing this?

Hello FlattopDaddy,

We'd be happy to provide you with some information. The most likely reason your Apple Watch is using more battery while in water is because its trying to maintain wireless connections. Water blocks wireless connections like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular data. When your devices losses signal it tries to search for a new connection. Searching for a connection uses more energry then maintaining a connection.

Thanks.
