I am trying to transfer Ticketmaster tickets to Apple Wallet

Finally figured it out. The "add to Apple wallet" only appears if you turn your iPhone sideways.

Even tho I turn it sideways it still does not give me the option

I have an iPad mini, not an iPhone . I tried turning the iPad sideways, and nothing changes. I see my ticket, with the barcode and scan thing moving back and forth . But no “view barcode” button, no Apple Wallet button . I see nothing that allows me to transfer the ticket to Apple Wallet

Update, I just called ticketmaster, she checked my account and said I didn't have the apple wallet feature, that only some events have that feature. She told me to download the tickets to my downloaded files on my phone. After getting off the phone with her my husband and I inadvertantly figured out the problem. Ticketmaster's directdions suck. You have to click on "VIEW Barcode" to access the add to apple wallet button. Hope this helps everyone else having issues.

The online instructions MAY INDICATE there is an add to apple wallet button, but there clearly is not. I am having teh same issue. I have the most up to date version of both applications on my phone -I followed ticketmasters directions step by step, and there is NO ADD To apple wallet feature qhwn you view your tickets following there instructions -This is clearly an issue with ticketmasters app

This doesn't work for me. I've seen some people say they were able to download it when they clicked a "view barcode" button. But that doesn't exist on my iphone. It's very frustrating. There is literally no option for me to download the ticket to my Apple Wallet.

What a lousy Ticketmaster site, support, and app. The only way I was able to add the tickets to the wallet were by turning the phone sideways while on the Ticketmaster web page with the tickets visible using the phone and then turning the phone sideways (landscape) to reveal the add to wallet button.

This is wild what a mess this is.

When I click on my event tickets on the site (on TM's site on a browser on my iPhone), a pop up appears saying "Add to Apple Wallet and beat slow WiFi on the big day". Then there is no button to add to the Apple Wallet. I've turned my phone in both orientations, and nothing. Just the scanning barcode thing going back and forth, with no way to add it to Apple Wallet.

The fact that such a simple and straightforward issue can't get resolved considering the resources these huge companies have is just mind blowing to me.

Then I try to do it on the TM app, and there's an error code popping up each time I try to log (not an incorrect password or anything, literally some weird error code "on their end").

TM is the absolute worst.

The online instructions tell you that there is an ad to digital wallet option in the iPhone app, and there is not!

No. Ticketmaster should have an "Add to Wallet" button in your account page where it lists your events and tickets, or in the confirmation email they sent when making the purchase.

There is no option in the Wallet App to add tickets directly.

Thank you, @Kwitt777. The Ticketmaster page does not mention anything about turning the phone sideways but that worked!

After turning phone sideways, scroll down to find add to apple wallet. Also works by using a browser to connect to ticketmaster and then viewing tickets. I have a phone that is too old to update to ios 16, which the ticketmaster app requires, so browser is the only option.

You saved the day with this tidbit! I literally never would have guessed this! What a horrible design.

Receive your tickets.

Sign into Ticketmaster.

View event.

Open each ticket(click on the ticket) if more than one.

Then you have the option to save it to your Apple wallet. And I didn’t have to turn my cell phone landscape.
