I'm getting the Gracenote 0x0 error all of a sudden when importing brand new CDs to Music. Is there a resolution?

Gracenote Error 0x0, 2024 ITunes 12.13.1.3 (checked for updates, none offered) OS: Windows 11 (all updates) SCENARIO: Ripping CDs for the last few weeks (upgrading to higher bit rate), several hundred so far, all okay This morning, after a few dozen rips, I can't get disc info. Try the gear icon, Get Track Names, receive the 0x0 error. Tried several discs. THINGS I'VE TRIED Rooted router and modem. Upgraded router firmware. Added both www.gracenote.com and service.gracenote.com to whitelist in MalwareBytes Premium. Note that I can get the Gracenote home page in a browser (it's not down). Tried another computer on the same network, same error. Windows Media Player also does not get disc info (but I think Microsoft no longer provides this service), so the old hack listed in these community pages (load WMP first, iTunes works) does not work VLC player DOES get the info, including CD cover art. I have no idea what service they use. Has Apple and Gracenote stopped their relationship? Is Gracenote simply down and will return this service soon? I am half-way through this re-ripping of my library process. It would be a bummer if I had to find another way to rip, then add separately to my iTunes library. Chris

I am unable to import CDs into my iTunes Library All of a sudden I am no longer able to import CD's into my iTunes Library. I get this message--Error occurred while converting the file "file name". An unknown error occurred (-54). I thought that maybe something was wrong with the external CD/DVD player, but buying a new one got the same message. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I just started having this problem as well. Last time I copied a cd into iTunes was a few months ago and today it just won’t connect to Gracenote. Tried adding iTunes app as exception to firewall then restarted everything and then temporarily disabled my firewall and antivirus, rebooted my router and still couldn’t connect with the Gracenote 0x0 error. Weird that it just stopped working. Haven’t made any changes to programs or security software except for windows automatic updates.

update.. uninstalled my vpn.. still no luck. Reinstalled it. No luck. But.. when I turned ON my VPN all of a sudden I was able to get iTunes to connect to the Gracenote server. ?? I am on Comcast Xfinity and they did reset my service/router before this issue. Could it be the Comcast dns settings ? Hmm. Baffled
