How to stop watch from suggesting increase in move goal

How do I stop my Apple Watch from suggesting I should increase my MOVE goal every Monday? I'm a senior citizen who loves his Apple Watch and the Fitness App and have used them for years. I have established my goals and don't wish to change them. I appreciate the reminders and status updates but am irritated by the regular suggestions to increase my Move goal every Monday when I have successfully achieved it consistently. I have a bad heart valve. I know what my safe limits are but Apple doesn't. Is there a way to turn off the increased Move goal suggestions without turning off the other notifications? Unwittingly, Apple is trying to kill me.

You are on the end of an OS9 thread.

in OS10 open Activity app.

Tap the bar chart top left

Scroll down to the bottom and tap Change Goals.

Increase them.

If you don't meet them daily they should not nag you to increase them.

Try turning off Daily Coaching explained above.

Greetings StanDieg0!

To stop your Apple Watch from suggesting an increase in your Move goal every Monday, you can try the following steps:

  1. Open the Watch app on your paired iPhone.
  2. Go to the "My Watch" tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select "Activity."
  4. Tap on "Notifications."
  5. Look for the option "Move Goal" and disable it by toggling off the switch next to it.

By turning off the Move goal notifications, you should no longer receive the suggestions to increase your Move goal every Monday. However, please note that this will also disable other notifications related to the Move goal, such as achievement reminders and progress updates.

Remember to consult with your healthcare provider regarding your safe limits and exercise goals, as they can provide personalized advice based on your specific health conditions. It's always important to prioritize your health and well-being above any suggested goals or targets.

Highest regards,
