6 Battery Cycle Count for 8 Days

Hi I'm a new Macbook User. I have my Pro m2 13'' just 8 days ago and my battery cycle count is at 6. Is it normal? How can I lower my battery cycle count? Any tips? I use my Mac mainly for work 10 to 12 hours daily.

That computer is a battery-CAPABLE device. it is not intended as a solely Battery-Operated device. (it is NOT an iPhone.)

Your computer performs best when connected to AC power. Applying power allows it to operate at optimum speed, and does NOT cause charging unless Charging is needed. It uses 'smart charging' and charges only when necessary. Your Mac will NEVER over-charge.

Use on battery only when necessary. When AC power is available, plug it in.
