Hello maricruz45,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that part of your display has a black box showing. We are happy to help. Since this seems to happen when using a specific app, first please use the steps here to restart your Mac: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

"Restart your Mac

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Restart.
  • If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in.”"

After your Mac has fully restarted, do you still see the black box? If so, try booting into safe mode next to test it. This prevents certain items from launching on startup so it's a good way to narrow down an issue. This link has the steps: How to use safe mode on your Mac. Once you test in safe mode, click Apple menu () > Restart to get back to normal.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Take care.
