recently, whenever i add new software instrument tracks into my project they all come out as green not with the faded colour palett. when i add audio tracks it works but not for software instruments. ive ensured my display settings are set to auto-assign 24 colours but it still isnt working. is it the new logic update? is anyone else having this issue?

I have the same issue. I thought that I had a setting that was off/wrong. I can still change the colors of these tracks manually, but the automatic coloring of the software instrument tracks is defunct. Please help!
I just asked this question right before you. Does it also say "MIDI Region" instead of the track name?
