Text Drag with Mouse

Hello, I'm new to MAC. I'm facing a weird issue. When i select a text on browser like Chrome, I'm not able to immediately drag it, it's like i need to hold the left click for one second on the highlighted text before dragging it. Is there any solution to make it quick like windows? TIA!
