Type ^ symbol on mac keyboard

Does anyone know how to type ^ on a mac keyboard? I've tried:

shift + control

fn + control

option + control

command + control



MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

^ in a keyboard shortcut for a menu item, or on a key on the bottom row, means control, all by itself. What exactly are you trying to do by typing it?


If you need to type ^ over a vowel or other character in your language, that depends on what language keyboard you are using. Is that English or something else?
