I can’t access apple home due to apple pod being off?

I’ve switched off at the plug my homepod, due to being away for a week.

Out of curiosity, I went to check to see if the WiFi plugs that powers the table light and the pond pump were working. Upon checking apple home, all the items state they’re unavailable.

my question is, will the WiFi plugs still work regardless if the apple pod is switched off? I have the plugs set to switch on / off at certain times throughout the day. Thank you
