Read time stamp changed after being read earlier?

So I sent a iMessage to someone yesterday and it wasn’t opened until 1:01am and we spoke on the phone and I can confirm it was read on that time. But as I check the text log today, it shows read at 10:14 am.. can anyone explain what that means? Why did it change? We haven’t texted since. But the read time is very different.
