iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cannot update to anything higher than iOS 12.5.7.
If you have one of the phones listed above and want to run a higher iOS version, you will need a new phone. An iPhone 8 or higher would be recommended.
