Apple Music free 6 months mths subscription

I signed up for Apple Music on 21st May. Then bought an AirPod Pro today, 22nd May. The 6 mths free subscription is not showing. How do I go about claiming it? Thanks

Oh No! Just a day’s difference and I lose the offer! It should be tied to the device.

Will see how spatial audio works out in Apple Music over the next week n decide if I retain it or just stick with my Tidal n Qobuz subscriptions.

TBH the whole free 6 months thing is appallingly managed. I got 6 months free with a home hub and then was offered to upgrade it to a family Apple Music for an extra £6 per month. I took that and then they charged the full subscription for the family plan. Not xtra at all. They admitted it was their fault but wouldn't make good their promise. Shockingly poor.
