iCloud not backing up since last 7 months

My iCloud in settings mentions the last backup somewhere around 7 months back. I don’t know whats wrong with it showing that. Why isn’t iCloud backing up my stuff from iPhone to iCloud?

In my attatched photo, read whats written under ‘Back Up Now’.

Hello Amawah,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your iPhone has not been backed up recently. We are happy to help.

In order for your iPhone to automatically backup, your device must be locked, connected to Wi-Fi, and connected to a power source. Additionally, your are able to manually back up. Here’s more information on this that may be helpful: Back up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to iCloud - Apple Support

"Turn on automatic backups

When you turn on iCloud Backup, iCloud automatically backs up your device information over Wi-Fi when your device is turned on, locked, and connected to a power source.

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
  2. Turn on iCloud Backup.
  3. If your device and carrier support it, you can also turn on Back Up Over Cellular to use cellular data with iCloud Backup instead of Wi-Fi when Wi-Fi is unavailable.

Back up manually

After you turn on automatic backups, you can manually back up your device at any time.

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
  2. Tap Back Up Now."

Mine has not backed up for 10 weeks now. I routinely have issues as sometimes our internet isn’t the greatest but spent the afternoon at a friends house today that has 100mbs and still would not back up. So clearly it is not just a WiFi issue. I pay for 2tb of storage and have plenty available so that is not an issue either. I am running IOS 17.5.1 on a 3rd generation iPad Pro.
