Changing IPad affecting Data on the Other Ipads

Hello,

I am going to by buying a new iPad for my birthday. I am going to be trading in an old iPad of mine for the new one but I am a bit concerned because of how the iPads are linked together. If I trade it in and they wipe the information off the iPad, will it affect my other iPads or not? It’s things like my notes that I am worried about.
