Homepod update issue
hi, I have 2 HomePods that are stuck on installing update 16.5, any clue ?
See Identify status lights on HomePod and HomePod mini - Apple Support. What is shown? Do they respond to voice or touch?

I did a factory reset and everything works fine
Reboot your iPhone.

How long have they been installing?
Did you initiate the update or was it automatically updating?
I had no problem updating my 2 HomePods. I did initiate the update in the Home app, but it took about 40 minutes as each one installed one at a time.
For two days , manually update
they are stuck on installing for 2 days , manually update
No lights, they work as usual. In the home app, they are stuck on installing 16.5 update .
I tried to disconnected both homepods and still the same issue. I have 3 other HomePods on the same network and the update we’re done flawlessly .
I am having the same issue.
HomePods are becoming a huge problem for Appel.
This is the a re accusing issue. I have 2 homePods and 3 homePod-minis. Same issue on them all.
Im questioning apples ability to "make thing work" like they did.
Did you doo it from the iPhone or holding down on the HomePod?
I have tried both 4-5 times now
Holding down on the homepod
Patience. Interrupting a HomePod mid-upgrade can brick it.
