iPhone not sending text messages to Android users

Why can't I send text messages to an android phone?

Text messages going to a non - iPhone are sent through SMS (green bubble). SMS messaging is provided and managed by your carrier. Please contact your carrier to ensure that SMS messaging is setup properly on your account.

Ensure that your iPad and your iPhone are signed on to the same Apple ID. Ensure that iMessage and FaceTime are signed on to the same Apple ID.

On your iPad, open Settings ➡️ Messages ➡️ Send & Receive: Here, you should see the phone number that is associated with your iPhone and iPad. Ensure that only the Phone number is checked and uncheck any email addresses that may be checked.
