Kernel panics after 13.4 update and FCP

I just updated to Ventura 13.4 on my MBP. After the restart, every time I launch Final Cut Pro, I get a kernel panic. (One such log attached.) I have no idea what to do. Help!

It could be one of the audio drivers. Perhaps they aren’t loaded until triggered by FCP.

You could use Safe Mode to disable them and see if it still panics.

The other option is to uninstall them and test. If no panics, seek an update from the developer.

I wanted to follow up on this thread for completeness. I was able to solve the problem by disabling all audio plug-ins (by going to Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components, and renaming the Components folder so that FCP couldn't see it). Then the kernel panics stopped.

I was not able to identify which plug-in might be causing it. This could be done when I have the time, by removing plug-ins a handful at a time, until I find out which plug-in causes it. I don't have time to do that right now. But I thought I would leave this thread here so that future users of FCP would think to try this if they have the same problem.
