Apple ITunes card

Why does my iTunes card not let me make a purchase I have $25 in it and it’s activated I can’t make any purchases with it I tried adding my debit see if that help it didn’t it just charged my debit card I can’t click the card nor can I make it my default card in my wallet in settings

Find the 16-digit code on the back of the card. ...
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open the App Store app.
At the top of the screen, tap the sign-in button or your photo.
Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.
