Does this update rectified battery draining issues for 14pro max and Any other bug is there
iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16
Well in my case I had no issues before the update. I usually charge my phone when the battery drops to 20% and stop at 85% and rarely ever use it while charging so I do believe it is the updates fault
13 Pro max here… after the update my battery health went down from 98 to 96 and a day later to 94…
But in 13 pro max battery draining issue is sorted I guess and battery health is related to battery charging. Cycle
How long you are using this phone like how old is the phone now
Around 7 months ago I bought it off a friend who prefers androids. It was in perfect condition with 100% battery life and I had no problems till now
usually in 3 months the battery health may drop but I guess in this case it’s dropped all together once it’s got updated I hope apple will clear the fault on next update

If ur product still have apple warranty kindly try to contact apple support they might help you on this
Do not even think about updating to 16.5 if you want to use your device without any issue. This is the worst update for battery life and device gets heat a lot. DO NOT UPDATE.
