Still not able to send or receive email. Account page has mail and notes verified.
Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on the account and delete it.
Restart your phone.
Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts and add the account back.

What part is “no good”. Were you able to add the account back, using your Optimum ID and passcode, or not? If not, what was the error?
The account loads mail and
notes. Verified. But emails cannot be sent. However they can be received.
That usually means you didn’t enter a password (or the correct password) for the outgoing mail server. Incoming and outgoing are separate processes, and each requires security credentials.
