Difficulty rewinding AirPods 2nd Gen

Just got 2nd Gen AirPod Pros yesterday. I’ve had the original pros for a while. I’m really struggling rewinding or going forward on a track by double or triple pressing the stem. It’s very inconsistent and more times than not i just short the track down or go in the wrong direction. I hear the click but pressing the stem is not at all consistent like the original AirPod Pro.

Am I doing something wrong? With only one day in having it I’m thinking it’s got to be me somehow. Thanks in advance for any help as it’s very frustrating.

I have the same issue. I have tried literally everything and it's like the AirPods can't register the fact that im double or triple tapping AT ALL. I had no issues with my old AirPods 1st gen vs the pros 2nd gen I own now.
