Lines on stopwatch (42: - - ) why?!

Stopwatch feature of muting seconds or minutes into lines until “wake” while using app. Please remove this nonfunctional aesthetic feature of the stopwatch app. It does this on every stopwatch view option, and distracts and decreases the value of the stopwatch app.
